Figure C3d. A short path to the goal; maybe fast, but it is still the naive approach
Figure C3d demonstrates how tempting and dangerous a short journey is. Every process needs its steps. One cannot trust a program that only writes about the change, promises it, and does not document it via the basic steps (performing an outline of the future algorithm).
An example of a difference is the direct transition from As-Is to To-Be (e.g., when a program says, start learning to scale, and then you will understand a new project paradigm).
Adopting such a program (e.g., only via an education) is dangerous because it is no longer about identifying risks but generating misleading information.
The Figure breaks down the general term "As-Is" into three further steps:
1. Scaling knowledge and skills.
2. Digitalization in organizations and projects.
3. Project algorithms unification.
We cannot come to the To-Be state via a short path. The goals are too complex:
1. New project paradigm interpretation,
2. Digital transformation of business via projects,
3. AFT is entering the economic environment.
